Landscapes Landscape photography is hard work. That applies to the equipment as well. A serious landscape photographer (and there are a lot of them in Scandinavia) will rarely be satisfied with a 35mm camera. An 8 x 11 camera or a panorama camera in format 6 x 17 would be necessary, which with all of the associated paraphernalia would fill a big backpack and require a sturdy hiker! I personally have chosen to compromise using a normal 35mm camera and a Hallelblad XPan in the format 24 x 65. These slides, professionally digitized, are of such high quality that only three of them fit on a CD with 7.4 meg.!
